RIP Max Bygraves

British comedian and Variety performer Max Bygraves has sadly died at the age of 89.

R.I.P Max, yet another good old school all round entertainer we have lost, sad news indeed.

He was a big supporter of the Conservative Party and campaigned for them during general elections - he'd knock on people's doors and say "I wanna sell you a Tory!"

Guys like Max broke through on the new media of the time like radio and particularly TV, coming from musical halls and variety theatre. It's very sad to be losing these legends and pioneers of entertainment now. RIP Max
