Hotfile

Does anyone out there have a Hotfile account and if so are they still able to access the download stats for individual videos? The "My Files" option in the "My Account" tab disappeared for me a few days ago and I didn't receive a reply when I asked them about it.

yep, same for me to mate. But I haven't asked them about it yet though. To be honest though, deposit files seems to be the best for me

Don't know if there's any connection, but there was a recent attempt to get Hotfile shutdown :

I wonder if this is a sign that they might be preparing to withdraw file-sharing like some of the other sites, no sharing, no stats required.

My account seems to have been closed as I haven't used it in so long, so I can't see anything

I've just noticed that Hotfile have deleted all my Lolly (Babestation) videos. They didn't tell me this I just noticed there were some gaps in the filemanager list and worked out which ones they were. If you click on the forum link the message This file is either removed due to copyright claim or is deleted by the uploader appears.
footballars and sikkfukk are the other two members who have Lolly videos on Hotfile (via the embedupload service). All of lars' videos have also been deleted while none of sikkfukk's appear to have been removed (I only checked about twenty as there are a shitload of them).
I checked some of the other hosts and none of them appear to be affected.

I'll have a check later on to see if any of the other girls videos have been removed.

Looks to me that Rapidshare is the only stable host these days. And Oron seems pretty good now too.

I only had one Lolly vid but its been deleted as well. But as with its RS link it may have been deleted due to inactivity. Pretty sure I saw it there yesterday though And the titles dont contain her fullname so Im not sure how they'd filter them out if it was a copyright complaint.

I checked a couple of rapidshare links and they were still functional.

Don't rapidshare send you an email if they are deleting a video due to inactivity?

Yes they do. Usually a week in advance. And it hasnt been 90 days since I uploaded the vid to hotfile so it wouldnt have been deleted because of inactivity.

Watch out sikk, id do a quick backup check if I were you.

I've had a look through my last hundred or so uploads on Hotfile and it's only the Lolly ones that have been deleted, including the ones on the 2-4-1 thread.

I noticed with embedupload that there are a different set of hosts for each of the videos, some included a Hotfile link and some didn't for example. How are the hosts selected for each video, is it done automatically?
