The Gary Anderson match last night for me sums up why darts is such an exciting game. What a fantastic advert for darts, loved it! Big Grin

The whole first round so far has shown what's so great about darts, Barneys, Websters, Andersons and Lewis' matches in particular were incredible

And just to top it off Whitlock's just hit the highest average of the tourney so far with a broken leg!

RE: 2012 PDC Ladbrokes World Darts Championship
Adie Lewis has looked far from convincing so far, not as shit-hot as he was last year. He should have no problems seeing off Wayne Jones in the next round tho', even on current form.

The Newton/Pipe clash was in danger of turning ugly last night. 'The Warrior' seemed happy enough with Pipe's slow style of play at 2-0 up, but threw a bit of a wobbler after losing the next 3 sets. In fairness, he did regain his composure (after a word from the match official), but he'll be disappointed with his mid-game mental breakdown, it cost him the match.

Justin Pipe could be a dark horse.. he's already beaten Phil Taylor 5 times, how many can say they've done that in a calender year.

Adrian Lewis won't win again. Wade and Anderson are better players then Adie.

Will be an interesting year at the All Pally
