Yup I am with you Jack. I just wasn't sure if it would have been that format you mention above, or you just vote without a head to head. E.g - Now we vote the 16 babes, the top 16 go through. Then we vote 8 babes, the top 8 go through. Then we vote 4 babes, top 4 go through, then we vote 2 babes, then the remaining 2 are in the final.

However I like the head to head format and that is the answer to my question, cheers guys

Maybe give a chance to comment on the head to heads before voting?

From memory of the last time, the results of the previous rounds were given and the votes started immediately in that thread. I would suggest giving a few days to comment on the head to heads then open a new thread to take the votes?

Upside - bit of commentary and debate for floating voters.
Downside - might descend into a slanging match lol, perhaps too personal against babes. Forget if you think it best.

This debate is fascinating, I am enjoying reading all these suggestions. Wonderful stuff

I was planning on keeping this thread open so that discussion of the tournament could take place in here rather than the voting threads. It makes it easier to count up votes if the only posts are votes. Inevitably, people will ignore that and no doubt moan that their favourite isn't winning or whatever, but hopefully the majority of discussion can be kept here.

Scotsman, what about an idea of voting (in just the head to head stage maybe) via PM? That way people have nothing to complain about, with regard to who's winning...what do you think?

And you can pass on some people votes to other members to count if it makes your life easier? I know many would happy to volunteer, myself included

Sorry if seemed patronising, I was just trying to make it as transparent as possible!

I think it's fun to see everyone's votes and, for purely selfish reasons, counting the votes via PM would be an absolute nightmare! I'm going to start this shortly as I think it's pretty much all set at this point, any last minute suggestions?

I think the votes are best left in public view for all to see... not that I'm wanting to start an argument when someone doesn't vote for one of my favourites...

no seriously, this discussion has been just the right way to go about starting it, makes us all a bit clearer on the voting system and gives less chance for squabbling to take over proceedings.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's top 16 and the potential matches that could be created in the next round.
