TVX's Inconsistent censorship

I am a Television X subscriber and I am completely baffled by the way they edit and censor their shows. For example, there are older shows where you can see pussy rubbing, fingering and dildo insertions for a good few minutes, albeit at a a slightly side-on view but you can see it. Then on another show they cut away every 5 seconds. I've also seen shows where you can see handjobs and blowjobs quite clearly.

Now, I know there are laws and such they have to obey, but if Ofcom were that strict, surely the channels would be shut down by now.

Also who agrees it's a disgrace that we can't see unedited and uncensored porn on pay by credit card channels. They bloody showed a girl squirting on Fiver last week.

It's too complex for me mate, I haven't got the foggiest why this is the case, but I watched that show on Fiver, couldn't believe that they showed the squirt several times...in closeup...good work Fiver!

The thing on Fiver got past the censors because it's considered "Educational". That's how The Lovers Guide was able to show penetration, oral sex, erections and so on, when H/C was still illegal in this country a few years back. You're allowed to learn about sex, but not to enjoy watching it seems to be the attitude Ofcom have. Weird, if you ask me...

Yeh, they get away with it cos apparently it's an "educational" show, even though they hardly go into detail about things.

Agreed, if it's so bad to show an erection or spread pussy lips it wouldn't be shown at all. The most annoying thing is we can't even see it on pay channels.

Ofcom need to bring there arses into the 21st century...all I have to say is, if I ever find myself the only guy in a room full of horny ladies, (It could happen...possibly ) I need to know how to please them all..only porn can show me the way see...educational!!! lol

i watched an infamous gay film on filmfour a few years ago to see if all the famously explicit scenes were uncut. they were. one scene showed one gay pishing into another ones mouth. not too sure what the artistic meaning of it was but i wouldnt be surprised if the gay porn channels are more explicit that the normal ones. fuckers
