Instead of saying 'Could I have a biscuit?' they say, 'Can I get a biscuit?'

Instead of saying 'Where is John?' they say, 'Where's John at?'

Instead of saying 'There're my boys' they say 'There's my boys'

These drive me nuts!!!!!

"Hey Jack, Where's John and Brad at ? ... Ahh there's my boys, oh and can I get a biscuit?"

Guess and Estimate are words but 'Guesstimate'?

I hate them. They're all over youtube. English people putting 'fall tv series', IT'S AUTUMN. Autumn is the season, that would be like called summer green leaves. But the the best came on a dvd review on a channel called fergmiester in stead of pronouncing route as in root he pronounced it the American way rout And stop going on vacations, it's holiday and while your there, go to the pictures or cinema to see a film like we did, not movies to see a movie.

Can someone please tell me firstly why are series now called seasons and why stupid people on reality tv shows are on journeys.... you can't journey when you don't go anywhere! In the words of the great Peter Griffin... "That really grinds my gears"
