You did have to wonder at the idea of making big name signings without addressing the channel's other problems.

They must be paying Tori a lot of money, West Ham wouldn't sign Ronaldo and only pay him 50K a week would they

Tori would not be on huge money. The days of big salaries for the girls is gone.

i think storm are having a real punt here, why would they let a girl go who is consistently at the top of there call stats so you can afford to bring in some "big names" in the hope that it will get them more recognized and and more call,
when its clear to see that the problems are poor production, no variety in the shows, only one set, no wed stream all these things will stop the channel getting more viewers/callers who ever they have on, they should spend there money on these things as there roster is not bad just needs help

The roster was the reason to watch in the 1st place they needed to get there act together but maybe they can't see it and have no vision?

i think the problem is they do have a vision but it's the wrong one, getting rid of girls people like so they can bring in names will not fix there problems and may make things worse

Displaying text messages on screen is still a huge mistake, even if they are charging 50p a pop this time. A company can't let calling customers become secondary, and why would anyone want to read what people text in when they are looking for phone sex anyway? They are supposed to be aroused by the girls, not turned off by weird conversations live from the asylum. The fewer people you turn on, the fewer people call. Simple as that.

Storm at it's best got the basics right. Two models to choose from, phone sex available at a reduced rate, small and transparent grahic boxes and a camera operator that can frame a shot, two sets to change up positioning, 241 specials, and girls that know how to work within Storm's limitations. It's best would never challenge a bigger company financially, but it was always a good alternative and the girls usually had fun which led to more exciting shows than it's competitors (the type of shows that bring in the browsing customer for increased revenue)

Merry Christmas, and I hope that someone rediscovers Storm's identity as the fun alternative
