Macho Man Randy Savage Dead

Macho Man Randy Savage -- one of the most famous wrestlers of all-time -- died today in a car accident in Tampa, Florida ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ spoke with Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells us the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 10 AM ... and lost control of his vehicle.

Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.

Savage was 58.

Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh."

Am in shock at one time he was the Biggest heel in wrestling.

R.I.P Savage. He was one of my favourites. I loved the Mega Powers in the 80's. When wrestling was wrestling. I hope his wife recovers.

Only just found out about the news, really sad thing to hear R.I.P Randy Savage.

i just found out a few minutes ago, i can't believe he's dead. he truely was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time (his match with ricky steamboat at wrestlemania 3 is one of my top 10 favourite matches).

This news has shocked me, i remember him best in the mid to late 80's, one of the (then) WWF's greatest periods.

RIP Randy.

All was one of the all time greats!! When wrestling was wrestling no one could come close to Macho Man!

i remember him hitting ricky steamboat with the bell from the top rope and not being sure if it was real or not. that feud between the two got me into wrestling. what a shame!
