Is odst good?I'm thinking of buying it but have never been a fan of the past halos

i like it because the community is so big. just did the vidmaster acivements on odst. what a good laugh. halo is prob the slickest online game there is. yeah it just a great fps offline. call of duty 4 is streets ahead offline. but online halo wins. 1 billion games have been played online. you can pick up halo3 an odst for arond £50. well worth it, i think i will still be playing this more than modern warfare 2. so yeah its worth the buy.

I have been a huge fan of Halo (not a fanboy, big difference) and I was not a lover of ODST, it was enjoyable but as soon as I completed it on Legendary I was bored of it which never happened with the other Halos, I still have a load of achievements to mop up in it but I cannot be bothered to play the game, which is never a good sign. It is not games in general, I just cannot be bothered to play that game, I became bored of it within 5 days of getting it. The online is what you expect but the ODST campaign is just bland. Firefight is good fun though and the only thing that will make me eventually go back.

agreed i've been playing firefight with a few mates and it's great fun, but haven't really got into the campaign, i'm hoping co-op with my mate will make it more fun, but on my own it was abit tedious after a level or so, which didn't really happen during halo 3.
