i really want a ps3 just for mgs4. is it any good from your point of view?

I was a fan of the series so my view may be a bit biased..the majority of 'not so good' reviews were because of the length of the cut scenes..they are epic..the storyline also got mixed reviews..it is complicated but who cares about the storyline as long as the gameplay is good, right?

The graphics are immense, as is the overall gameplay...highly recommended

streetfighter will be on both platforms..
alot of people bought a PS3 cos of MGS4..

its expensive but once you've added all the extra costs of making the hardware equivalent of a PS3, the PS3 is probably better value for money..

XBox Live (Internet membership, free for PS3) - £40 per year
Wireless adaptor (built in on PS3) - £60
Controller Charging unit (otherwise batteries are required, standard USB lead is supplied for PS3) - £15

Add the fact your getting a top notch Blu Ray player, I would say the PS3 is better value..

I have both..I had the PS3 first and decided to buy an XBox Elite for Gears of War a few months later and I was disappointed with the build quality of it..The PS3 looks and feels quality whereas the XBox doesn't..the PS3 is also very quiet, almost silent whereas the XBox sounds like a combine harvester..

The majority of games that come out now are multi-platform anyway so I would definitely recommend the PS3 over XBox360...
