New Imagechunk

Howdy howdy howdy,

Let me know if you have any problems with the latest version of ImageChunk. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, my PMs and my email (me@imagechunk.com)

Also, please let me know if you have any feature requests. I currently plan on implementing these:

Better rating system for images
Tags/Categories for images (make searching/finding images easier/faster)
Ability to comment on images
Public URL for albums, if selected (http://www.imagechunk.com/username/albumname/)

Well I for one don't like the new set-up.

Your album select doesn't work for starters. You only have Main Album as an option, I can't upload directly into a pre-made album. That's making twice as much work, as I have to upload and then select and move them into there own album.

Then there's the time it takes for it to load in the first place, Talk about slow.
Then there's the constant internal 500 error's you keep getting.

Shall I continue.

The server is moving 100, 000 images from one directory to another so it loading slow and giving errors is fine.

I have albums and I can select between 'Main Album' and my other albums. What do you see when you go to the home page? What is in the album dropdown?

After I log in, and go to the upload image menu, the album drop down only allows me to select main album. Not any of my previously named albums.

ADDITION : It now seems to be working again, as you seem to have increased the width slightly.

I only use the site (without an account) for uploading pics to this forum.
I don't make use of any of the fancy features, albums etc., so its not really any different for me. I have had very little trouble in the past and use it for all my uploaded pics.
I did find that it was pretty slow yesterday though.
The forum pages with lots of pics on them, have also been slow to load recently. I suppose its because more and more people are using imagechunk to host their pics.

EDIT: Its terribly slow to display any pics on the forum at midday today

Where's the poll option for haven't noticed any difference?

The layout is better, but the images are loading at a snails pace currently.
I mod sections with threads that are made up entirely of pics...it's a bit annoying at the moment.
If you can get the images loading faster and keep it that way, the change will be definately better and I'll cast my vote to say so.

Taking ages to load up Takes an age to get pics up on here at the mo aswell...Quite annoying lol

It just took me over 30mins to upload 33 caps. And as for viewing them afterwards, just forget about it.

This isn't slow, it's a fucking joke.

It took me less time to upload the 130 MB video, than it did to do the caps.

Your Image host has just about brought this forum to a stand still. Get it fixed.

It's taking a lot longer for images to load up, in fact, it's so slow it's unbelievable
