RE: USPGA
Jim Furyk showed good signs of form on Sunday - and I have a feeling Harrington might go close too.
I'd agree with you on Molinari if it wasn't for his putting.

Haven't looked at the odds yet but Retief Goosen's form's been good of late. Definitely gonna have a punt on him. Not to mention the fact that the Goose is my favourite and, to my detriment, I like to bet with my heart.Smile

Without Dannii Harwood, Winter would have no Spring.

Got Retief Goosen at 28/1 and Nick Watney at 55/1, both straight wins. Let's hope for a great tournament.Smile

POOR DUSTIN(not to mention my pocket)given 2 shot penalty, how on earth was he to know he was in a bunker, himslef and the caddy had to do the marshalling, looked to me as if it was a pathway, could easilly have been worn down grass from the spectators.

Shocking really that common sense doesnt prevail in theese situation, not as if he was seeking an advantage, but i suppose thats golf, rules are rules

annoyedannoyedannoyedannoyedannoyed
only saving grace for him is that he didnt hole that putt on 18.
and atleast i got the wee bit for the place, and paddy gae me my win bet backWink

RE: USPGA
I've every sympathy for him (and your pocket) but the fact is they were all given the local rules as well as having notices up all over the locker room. With his ball in sand he should have asked for a ruling - he said himself afterwards that he'll have to read the rules more carefully next time. A real shame the situation hadn't come up before during the week. As you say the marshalling left a lot to be desired and had it been better his position may have been clearer.
Rules is rules in golf and there is never any leeway. The players know it and have to be very very careful.
Having said all that, congratulations to Martin Kaymer. I thought he handled the pressure better than anyone and his shot to the 18th in the playoff after some idiot disturbed his swing was superb. Good to see another European major winner. Though I wish he'd won the Open when my money was on him.

RE: USPGA
Most compelling major of the year in my view. Kaymer held firm under substantial pressure and against a pro American crowd. His shot selection was an object lesson in top class course management when the heat was on. Very pleased to see another European winner.
