See the Conservatives used the Keane track Everybody's Changing at the launch of their manifesto without permission.

One of the commenters noted that surely this a form of piracy and the Tories should have their broadband connection cancelled immediately.Smile

RE: Forthcoming General Election.
I think we should have a benovolent dictatorship. I'd like to nominate ooh err myself Big Grin

All Hail BigBen!!

First off - no unemployment benefit so people who choose not working as a career choice can buy flat screen TV's instead of clothing their kids. They will be replaced with a system of vouchers so they have to be spent on clothes, food etc and not games, pot and beer.

No offense to any unemployed pot smokers on the forum.

I also have nothing against beer, pot and games - so long as you earned the money to pay for it as I did Tongue

Workers of the world, unite!

I'm struggling to see any benefit in voting for anyone, they're all bad. I think people should vote for an outsider like UKIP, Greens or independent candidates.

Even though there won't be enough to get any of them in, it would send a message to the government that the british people aren't going stand for garbage any more.

RE: Forthcoming General Election.
Clegg won the debate last night.

Cameron today couldn't bring himself to say it and Brown... well he was crap as everyone knew he would be going into last night.

Haven't recieved anything from local MPs whatever here, sure we will and I will take note of what they have to say but my vote is still undecided.

On Facebook there is a Rage Against The Machine type group to try and get the LDs in power.

Who saw last nights debate? Going to watch the others?

RE: Forthcoming General Election.
I did watch it,I only intended to watch the start but ended up watching
all of it. Surprised It was better than I expected although my expectations were low.

I agree Nick Clegg won but I wonder if it was because Brown and Cameron were too concerned about each other and gave him a easier ride.
Think they will all change and refine thier tactic's in the next ones, which I will watch as well probably.

I thought it funny how Gordon B and David C kept saying " I agree with Nick" And also how they all kept talking about the people theyve met.
eek Bounce . Think they overdid it somewhat as they tried to appear as one of 'us'.

For the record I have not met any of them and " I agree with Nick" Tongue

Perhaps Cameroon and Broon are going to vote Liberal Democrat.

Most funny part of the night was Cameroon's story of the 40 year old man who'd come to this country at the age of six and had spent thirty years in the navy !! Press-ganged was he at the age of 10?

RE: Forthcoming General Election.
When was the debate on? Was it on BBC1 just before Question Time? Huh

This is the kind of thing they do for the US Elections aswell, with the candidates involved in debates in the studio. I'm not sure if its the right way to go for UK elections.. bladewave
