Wrestlemania 26 Discussion Thread

The grand daddy of them of all is upon us and I personally can't wait for this one, after last year's effort not being a patch on 24 imo I am hoping that this show can be awesome.

Possible matches:
Edge verses Jericho
Micheals verses Taker
HHH verses Sheamus
Batista verses Cena
Orton verses DiBiase verses Rhodes (Father in each corner)
Bret verses Vince (Street Fight???)
Punk verses Mysterio
Throw in MITB, Miss Wrestlemania Battle Royal and a tag title match and it looks pretty damn good in my eyes.

I hope they do the HHH v Sheamus match - I don't want the Celtic Warrior slipping back into mid/lower card matches

Yeah. I am interested on seeing how they build that because it hasn't been touched on in anyway.

Some qualifers for the MITB tonight. And of course a MITB PPV later on this year, anyway I hope the lineup includes some of these at Mania:
Morrison, R-Truth, Kingston, McIntyre, Kane, Ziggler, Jackson, Christian, MVP, Miz, Show (the latter three if they aren't in a tag title match)

i've heard that wwe are planning to have the wwe championship in a tag match at wrestlemania with batista and vince mcmahon vs john cena and bret hart and believe it or not the plan is to have bret hart win the title. if you think i'm bullshitting you then take a look at this. http://www.wrestlescoop.com/2010/02/22/b...stlemania/

I know a few weeks ago they were thinking of doing Batista/Vince vs. Bret/Cena at EC but obviously that didn't happen and now to do it for the title at Mania, it would be a 'feel-good-title-win' as that piece put it. I would grumble at seeing it happen but anyway for Bret to get a win over Vince in any match at Mania I will settle for it.

okay here are some of the matches that have already been announced.

wwe championship: batista vs john cena

world heavyweight championship: chris jericho vs edge

the streak vs career match: undertaker vs shawn michaels

money in the bank ladder match: christian vs dolph ziggler vs kane vs shelton benjamin vs 4 other wrestlers yet to be announced

Like those three added to the MITB match. They all make sense would of preferred it to be a six man again like the first two as 8 seems to not come off as well imo.

Hi guys! Big Wrestling Fan! So does anyone know if Bret Hart is actually gonna wrestle? And if he does is it just for one night or is it gonna become permanent?
