Every August is the same - shockingly awful. Will pick up in mid September.

Yes this has been happening on the 66 streams, on and off, for a few weeks now.

It is a visual transition fader left half open by mistake I believe. They are meant to be wiped rapidly for transitions between two images one dissolving into the other with a 'pleasing' warp effect. I have seen it used properly for the switch between two babes on 66. (Its the sort of thing first used on Top of the Pops back in the day. The fact that the effect is hackneyed by its availability for your digital photo albums nowadays does not stop some. )

It is the visual equivalent of the mic being left up. Someone has been mucking about and forgot it or its been knocked accidently.

The fact that the streams can be different to Sky is usually something to celebrate of course. But at least there would be much less likelihood of it happening to the Sky feeds as the babes have monitors dotted around their sets to ensure they are going out correctly remember.

Unfortunately, there was only a single camera feed, so the only difference between the two streams last night was the 'warp'.

^ Uhuh. It was an entirely facetious comment. I don't think 66 are doing the good differences atm.

Are the streams a complete disaster for anyone else, or just me? Constant freezing, the worst I've ever seen on S66.

The streams are running perfectly for me.

EDIT: No they have started freezing now, but still not that bad.
