no my tv isn't zoomed in. haven't a clue then why the osg's are as they are on my tv.

whatever the reason, good that they are (at the moment) just on the bottom of the screen and not on the sides

The D.O.Gs are larger than a couple of nights ago; depending on how your TV is set up, you might lose some 'off the ends'; this is not (necessarily) a result of 'zooming' the picture.
FWIW, on my TV, it's just half of the 'S', and final text number that's missing, so not as much as Rammy's, it would seem, and it can be corrected (Display Area changed from 'normal' to +1), but correction shouldn't be necessary - they seem to have overdone it, slightly.

Perhaps they'll have another go tomorrow night, and get it 'just right'!

^ Yes even today, in a relic from the old CRT sets, a lot of TV's will be set to overscan by default. Each model number may vary in the amount it does this. The oversan can almost certainly be turned off and you'll get the 1:1 pixel mapping that's desirable - it's just that such settings are labelled variously and a little trial and error is sometimes required. When the image is correct a slight improvement in general picture quality should result too as your picture is no longer being manipulated in size by your set.

Broadcasters are supposed to stick to 'safe' areas of the screen with their graphics in order to avoid these problems but some don't bother.
