I hope no-one blames me, if it's a change of lighting, that led the ladies tonight, to look like they'd been Tango'd, or been drinking too much Sunny Delight.
I suggested, that the lighting be toned down, softened, or dimmed, not changing the colour of the lights.

It's been good to see some darker colours on set, recently.
Some more shade, against the light, would be welcome. But not extreme contrasts.
A softer backdrop would make a lot of difference. Anything that means you can see the ladies better, can only be good.
The snowblinding effect doesn't seem to be a wider problem with Freeview. It's not much different online. Whilst elsewhere on Freeview, lighting ranges from moderate to excessive, adjusted frequently.

There are a lot of obtrusive colour schemes around: really bright, glaring colours, often over-contrasted with black mats; and other extreme contrasts of colours; a 'sauna' set (without water or steam!), that is so similar to the skin tones of some of the women who appear on it, that they're virtually camouflaged; and other camouflage colour schemes. Sometimes, the ladies' outfits camouflage them. Also, there is over-lighting, or under-lighting, or gratuitously coloured lighting.
Over-elaborate, busy sets, seem to be a competitive sport, in some quarters. Apparently aiming to look like adverts in 'upmarket' magazines.
There are obviously viewers/callers who like, poolroom sets, lounge sets, with or without piano, office sets, back alley sets, aeroplane sets, barn sets, park bench set, etc.
But I think that xxXpanded, at least, has the virtue of simplicity, with the ladies' being the focus of attention.

Although, when someone as profoundly beautiful, as Aruba Jasmine, appears on my Freeview tv, as she did for the first time, on the night of the above posting, I don't mind other channels' set designs. So long as they don't crop her face out of shot, and her voice isn't out of synch with the picture.

For those who like to see women walking around, there is some of that, but the fondness for sets with, desks and tables, and the intermittently dizzying camerawork, means you don't see their legs, or faces, as much as one might want.
Hence, my preference for seeing a solo lady, lying on a chaise longue.
If it's someone you really like, then you have to try to see passed all that. And at least, they're most often, on their own.]

But I hope enough is pertinent, for this post to not be exiled to the Twilight Zone! I'll move it to a more general thread, if necessary.

I thought I might have said, something about black absorbing light, and therefore being best avoided, in sets' colour schemes. Not least, when a black-haired, darker-skinned woman, is to appear on set.
There are still a lot of instances, where there are dark colours on sets, with blinding light, shone onto them.

There are other posts, or parts thereof, that I might quote elsewhere, at another time.
Although, I don't think I have a screenshot, of my posts' saying, that three women on a set, looks like a call centre!

On Playboy TV Daytime, shortly before, the 6AM end of transmission, on Freeview, yesterday, Alicia spoke on-air!

For those who saw Alicia, when she was on Elite/66, that might be no big deal. But that was during a time, when Elite/66 wasn't on fv. Hence, she was on fv, only on XP.


I did type that, and posted it, originally, nearer the time of the post, it followed up, back in June. But I withdrew it, to re-edit, and then, half-forgot about it. Whilst I wasn't on the forum, very much, for several weeks, anyway.

I could probably add a number of further points.
But for the moment, I will say, that I'm not, too much keener, on 66's new sets.
The busy graffiti on the walls, is a definite minus. Although, the colour schemes have moved away, from extremes of bright and dark.
Above, I'd said that a chaise longue, would be best, for the models to be on. I'm less sure of that, now. The armchairs from a three-piece suite, might be better. Certainly, more than a two, or three-seater sofa. Where a presenter can spend most of the time, lying sidelong to the camera. Rather than sat, facing the camera.
On colour schemes, a partly good model, is the minimal schemes in many porn scenes. Usually someone's home, possibly rented out to porn producers.
Only, partly good, as they're often like a snow blizzard; white walls, and furniture, with added, excessive lighting! Sometimes, in addition to sunlight, coming in through a nearby window, or even in shot, with evidently inadequate, if any, attempts to control or reduce, light or glare.
Sunlight is not an evident issue, with the setups of 66 etc. But, over-lighting is. Sometimes, changing considerably, the apparent skin tone, of those on camera. Such as making some look paler. Or darker, if a coloured light, or filter, is used.
I'm darker-skinned, myself, and I do have preferences, for women, across the spectrum of skin tones.
Back on XP forum, I did remark, that fake tan, 'ersatzuma', was possibly the only 'fakery'/body modification, that was a general turn-off for me.
I lamented, how few, pale-toned women, there were, on XP, or elsewhere. Periods of sunshine, don't necessarily, make much difference.
But generally, on these channels, and in porn, there are probably more, 'mid-toned' women, than either pale or dark.
