Heavy Rain Demo

Nice one little gimp, from what i've seen of it so far its shaping up to be something special .

The game is due out tomorrow and it's still snowing,it hasn't stopped for over 24 hours,hopefully the postman is a snowboarder 'cause it's getting pretty bleak out.I would keep my fingers crossed but after playing the demo it seems my fingers need to be at full fitness and as flexible as possible.

The Postman has just delivered my copy of Heavy Rain, so i really should type faster and turn on my PS3, i also got an email saying there's a delay to the soundtrack and to wait until 4th March to enter the code for the digital bonuses that come with the special edition, well it's less than a week so thats not too bad, anyway enough of this i need to play the game. Can't wait.

Bloody Facebook, i go to check messages and end up chatting for 2 hours, don't get me wrong it was a nice chat but i want to play the game so enough of this,i'm off to get my brolly,haha.

After teaching Shaun to throw a boomerang i took a break for some food so before i dive back in i'm going to say this, WOW this game is so good, from waking up and taking a piss to fighting that guy in one of the scene's from the demo and i know i've not even scratched the surface yet,even the pause screen looks amazing,one of the best things so far was right at the beginning, instead of getting pissed off for having to wait for 10 mins while the game data installs you get to make your own origami figure, (which took me longer to make than the install) and straight away got me feeling involved. I know i've only just started playing the game but i think it's safe to say this is a work of Genius. I could go on but i want to get back to the park and see what's going to happen next.

i totally agree with you little gimp. i got my copy delivered to me on thursday and i just cant put it down. its the most intense and involved game ive ever played an experience like no other. the way it looks and plays is just out of this world. the QTE fight scenes make my heart beat like mad and the story is incredibly moving and the attention to detail makes it all the more enjoyably like the way u interact with people and the background, i.e playing boomerang with shaun or the juggling with fruit. its just blowing my mind so much im gona go play some more.

Well i got to the end of the game last night and loved every second of it and today i'm going to start again and do the opposite to see where the story goes.
I have to say i don't think i have enjoyed or felt as involved in a game this much before,normally when you kill someone in a game it means nothing and you feel nothing but when given the choice to kill or not i had to stop and think about it,usually i'd have just blown them away and probably shot the dead body a couple of time just to be sure,but here each life seems to really matter,also the way and pace that the story unfolds is really clever and i agree SYNERD the fight scenes are something else,(MINI SPOILER!) the fight in the junk yard has to be a contender for the best fight sequence in a game EVER!
And KALEL76 i agree this really is something special i'd go as far as to call Heavy Rain a Masterpiece,the game may not be as long as some other games but nothing ever feels rushed and being able to go back and make different choices that drastically alter the story gives the game a whole new depth no other game has had before.
One more thing i want to mention before i go back to the game is the music,the composer deserves some kind of award because the score really sets the tone perfectly and the main theme is just beautiful. Well thats it for now once again i'm off to see what happens next.

You won't be able to play it today, the Playstation Network is completely fucked so you cannot play games or go to the store, no word as to when the problem will be fixed by Sony, just that they are aware of the problem. Which is a fucker, I got the game Saturday (forgot to pre-order) but had to work all weekend and was going to play it today before I found out that all PS3's are fucked. Useless Sony.
