ImageChunk Problem

What would cause a site not to open up like imagechunk is doing just now?

Still not working.

If they are carrying out maintenace/upgrading etc would it not be possible to put up a Temp Page explaining the downtime.

I just hope it comes back online. As I don't fancy re-uploading all my caps and video thumbs to a new image host.

Then of course, that would mean re-posting them. As I don't think the Moderators would have the time, or the patience to edit all the existing posts, and insert the new BBcode.

We have tens of thousands of pictures hosted by IC, I myself have over 10,000

I hope this is fixable.

its a no win situation, damned if you do damn if you dont.

It could be any reason, maybe some images were uploaded there that are against the law or something similar. Maybe they are upgrading there storage, maybe they were hacked and the server crashed and hasnt been reset. We wont know until it comes back on, there is dumpArump.com which is very good and can multiupload but it doesnt help people with images stored on imagechunk.

Hi all,

The datacenter where ICs servers are hosted is having some problems. All of your images are safe, all of your links will work when the server comes back up.

I'll let you know once I hear more. Hopefully soon!

I thought for one minute we had been attack by the Binary Date Bug. As Elite, BangBabes & ImageChunk all went down on the same date 011110.

I can never get images to upload with imagechunk at the best of times even when only uploading 3/4 pic it always tells me to delete some images, so i've given up on it altogether & now use imagevenue, i like the fact it has a time & % load bar so you know how longs left but the down side is that unlike imagechunk when you press browse you have to keep clicking back to your album where as IC takes you straight to it, & It only lets you c&p 3 BB Codes at a time which with a large number of pics is time-consuming

Imagebam's problem is that if you load a large number of pics some of them will not show up in the post. Like aceman65 says IC is the best site for it's versatility but the problems are now too frequent!!!
