ImageChunk Problem

i dont use imagechunk, i think people should use a range of different hosts. i have no problems with imagebam.

I no longer use Imagechunk myself. I use several different one's to diminish the impact, if just such a thing should happen again.

But that aside, it still does not negate the fact, that a lot of older posts on this forum have had there impact diminished by the failings of Imagechunks inability to fix the problem. (my older posts included).

I too have stopped using imagechunk as my primary host, for two reasons, the first is because of the downtime over the last few months and the 2nd IMO is because the thumbnails look jenk compared to other hosts

Same here. Ignoring the fact that a majority of my older caps are either the wrong size or no longer visible (despite repeated assurances that they would be fixed), the down-time the site has suffered over the last 6 months has been excessive for a "functioning" image host. And I also agree that thumbnails from other image hosts are (mostly) superior to imagechunk's. Not a complaint, just a fact.

Imagechunk seems to be down again.

I don't use it anymore, but I just noticed a lot of images not appearing on the forum.

EDIT - Clicking on a pic results in "500 Internal Server Error"

i just notice that imagechunk is down again. imagebam and imagevenue are far more reliable.

i think it is back now.

Well I herd that ImageChunk was being bought out by Cellcast. Does that mean will be plagued by even more adverts & pop-up's every time we click on an image.

And are they going to give preferential treatment to BabeStation Caps over other channels.

clicking an image of a naked oily fernanda and geri pops up selling their tat. that would kill the pleasure of fernanda.
