WWE Bret Hart return

At this time, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Hart is expected to debut with the company as the special guest host of Raw on January 4th, which of course goes head-to-head with TNA Impact that night.

Additionally, it's being said that Hart's talent deal does not expire until April 10th, 2010, and it is expected that Hart's work with WWE will not be limited to just one appearance as Raw's guest host. In fact, there is talk at this time of Bret possibly wrestling one more match, but that is simply speculation at the moment and nothing has been confirmed

there is no way he could ever wrestle again due to his health. when i saw him at 1pw a few years ago he was a shadow of his former self and he was just talking in the ring. i could see him getting physical i.e punching someone out and even using the sharp shooter but thats all.

This is great that the hitman is comin back, i would love to be a fly on the wall in the locker room on the his first day back on the job to see if him and shawn have a conversation with eachother lol and wwe had to pull something big like this out of the hat since they r goin head to head with tna and the debut of hogan so its a good time to be a wrestling fan

i did wondor why vince was sooo cool about tna comming to mondays now i know why

as much i would love to see bret bk in the ring i dont think he should wrestle might be selfish but i wanna keep the memories of him wrestling when he was in his prime plus i dont think he can take to many shots to the head come in jan to april but dont wrestle dont wanna see bret permentlay hurt

Not saying he won't get a pop, but Bret's a 52 year old man, who sustained partial brain damage at the hands (or rather feet) of the oafish Goldberg & subsequently suffered a 'stroke'. Probably better to keep the 80s & 90s memories.

According to Bryan Alvarez, the short-term deal that Bret Hart has signed with WWE is a performer's contract so he is expected to be a major part of the storylines going into Wrestlemania. It's still believed by many that he will be doing one match, most likely against Vince McMahon.

Bret is old-school and is trying to keep everything about his return quiet. Because of this, a lot of news might not get out about plans for him in WWE before his first appearance. It's still not confirmed that Bret will be hosting the January 4th RAW.

Bret is heavier than he has been in the past and is trying to get back into shape. He has a bad back injury that has made it hard to train.

Bret hasn't talked with Shawn Michaels or Triple H since Montreal so it will be interesting to see how everything plays out between them
