Mark Lawson talks to... Michael Parkinson
Barnsley's finest was plugging his book in this 2008 chat. He resented that ITV let him go rather than give him one last series. He was intrigued by some gossip that Lawson let slip. It was a good book, I recall that.

5.3 Chris Kamara and Jeff Stelling head through Sri Lanka, facing elephants, tea planters, and the fearsome Devil's Staircase. They also get a high altitude finale.
WMDR
5.4 Mike Wozniak and Ola Labib plod through Namibia, which doesn't come across as all that tricky, and as they both come from Portsmouth, what fears could they have had anyway?

Feels like a long farewell tour now, rather than the possible beginning of a new chapter. Visits to Portmeirion, Caernarfon Castle and the Ffestiniog Railway were less about food and more about bucket lists (Dave even misses one visit because he's having treatment).
THBGW
6 - Severn Estuary
Bristol, chiefly, but also Newport and Tewkesbury. I was sure at the start of the series it was billed as being 8 episodes, but now seems to be just 7. Dave did finally do the "life is peaceful there" line.

Alan Davies is amusingly acerbic and talks about his memoir, which is quite an unforgettable read.

Stargate SG1 Series 7 Finale - "Lost City" Parts 1 and 2

They always nailed the finales and premieres of SG1, can't think of an average one, always top quality.
