5.3 Chris Kamara and Jeff Stelling head through Sri Lanka, facing elephants, tea planters, and the fearsome Devil's Staircase. They also get a high altitude finale.

Feels like a long farewell tour now, rather than the possible beginning of a new chapter. Visits to Portmeirion, Caernarfon Castle and the Ffestiniog Railway were less about food and more about bucket lists (Dave even misses one visit because he's having treatment).

Another of those "great lost leaders", instead doing sterling work with the IRC, and concerned not just about Gaza, but South Sudan and Congo too.

RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Great British Menu S19 Ep20: Northern Ireland: Mains and Puddings.

I've been watching this show from the start and I have previously quite enjoyed all of The Great British Menu shows. In this particular episode there was a change of judge from Richard Corrigan (who is a great judge and chef) to Spencer Metzger. Spencer in his own right is an exceptional chef and doesn't hold back when judging the 3 remaining contestants. I've only got as far as the mains, so I still have the pudding part of the show to watch yet but something that has me completely bamboozled is that this could be a case of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' Tongue - I'm nearly, almost certainly, 99.9999% sure that contestant Lottie is Alessia Russo with dark hair - I mean their almost identical twins Big Grin.

I feel for some of these guys because their ideas are great but because of the time constraints, it seems to be affecting the finished plate at the end of the day.

Anyway enjoying this series so far (though I did love the ones years back when chefs like Tom Kerridge and Lisa Goodwin-Allen were competing Smile) - but still convinced Lottie is actually Alessia Russo Big Grin.

^^ Same here, watched them all, I prefer this to MasterChef. See what you mean about the doppelganger, apart from the hair colour, exactly the same, even down to the way she runs around the kitchen. Wink

Talking Comedy: Pete and Dud
Unusually for this sort of format show, this was mostly new/unfamiliar clips, which was all to the good. Given their well-documented disagreements, some of the latter stuff was a little strained, but stuff from the 60s was fresh and well-meant.
