Imagine... Vivian Maier: Who Took Nanny's Pictures?
Alan Yentob investigates the strange story of a woman who took over 150k pictures in her lifetime, but most ended up sold from her storage facility when she couldn't pay for it any more. Her background in France was as mysterious as her later hobby work in Chicago. The folk who bought her stocks soon pooled info when they realised the depth of the resource. A charmingly inspiring story, not without its warning elements.

An arts magazine show, this bit looked at a young photographer who also has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, but still manages to keep shooting, for now.

3 - the row about the Benin Bronzes, the prospects for palm oil, and mixed fortunes in rivers, but instead of ending on a downer, he returns to Lagos to visit a megachurch where the rapture of thousands blots out the tragedies he leaves behind.

Mostly a thoughtful series, even if his conclusions were somewhat melancholic.

2.1 Back for a 2nd series, though mercifully each one seems to be contained to one area without needing to be sequential. Which is to say this week they pratted around the Lake District, next week they're apparently going to the Isle of Wight.
