RE: Ofcom Discussion
I've just had a look at the latest Ofcom bulletin and noticed that there's no mention of the babe channels anywhere. Not one investigation pending. This has to be unprecedented, especially as Ofcom have left the channels alone for quite some time now.

In a way they've won this particular phase of the war as the channels have never been tamer. However, I don't think they're that tame as to not cause offence if people are desperate to be offended at two am. So why the lack of complaints?

Perhaps the channels have stopped grassing each other up? As we all know, the overwhelming majority of complaints are submitted by rival channels and not the public. Everyone here repeatedly asked them not to be so fucking stupid and to stop doing it. Perhaps they've finally seen sense.

RE: Ofcom Discussion
Just had a look at the latest Ofcom bulletin my self and like Digital Dave says no babe channels are mentioned in the latest bulletin for being found in breach or not in breach or currently under investigation, not only that there has been no mention of complaints made to Ofcom about the babe shows that Ofcom have assessed but thought they were were not worth investigating. It seems a bit suspicious to me, what are Ofcom up to, are they trying to lull the channels into a false sense or security in the hope that they will push things so they can come down hard on them ? , the phrase "give someone enough rope to hang themselves" is maybe what Ofcom have in mind .

I think there is still 1 or 2 ongoing investigations that were mentioned in previous bulletins that have not yet been resolved, either for being in breach or not in breach, the Storm investigation is still ongoing i believe for something shown on the 18th of June , some times the investigation take many months .

Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

RE: Ofcom Discussion
It sounds like good news maybe the channels can get confidence from this and up the tempo up a bit. However, I hate to be the turd in the cake, but Digital Dave you pointed out the vast majority of complaints may have came from the channels themselves and now it appears this grassing up from each other has stopped. But we can't forget their is still a minority of ordinary people out there, who may have complained themselves to Ofcom against the Babe Channels. It sounds like potentially good news, but lets not get overly excited just yet and see if the channels up their performances in the next few weeks or months

RE: Ofcom Discussion
Someone is lying here,,ofcom do not watch programmes before they are shown..I have been watching ed richards interview (without punching a hole in my laptop)and he said he will leave it up to persons to complain about any breaches/rule breaks and ofcom will not pre-screen any content before showing on tv and never will.

Now channel 4 and 5 both say showing female genatalia in the same film as when showing penises breaks ofcoms rules..Now where does it say this ?? All i can find is nudity must be in context especially before the watershed etc..I cannot find as yet anywhere saying you cannot show female genatalia but willing to be proved wrong.

My daughter teenage nudist sex docu is back on More 4 11.05pm tuesday 24th July and yes i am going to write another stinking SEXIST email to channel4 and ofcom..As i say i will moan and harrass till i die these sexist morons are sexist and i am right..Iam then going to write again till i get an answer on when they are going to do a documentry on "My son the teenage nudist" and fill it full of female gentalia just cameras filming fannys and girls pulling their knickers down just like they do in"My daughter the teenage nudist."

There have been so many turn arounds this year about the budget and they are striking about milk at this moment and winning..Things change if we continue to complain but yet again I AM ON MY OWN.
If this time all 54,000 people on here complain about this highly sexist penis show MDTTN then maybe we can get something done. Haha i get no back up and one person cant change the world. At the end of the docu is even worse with men just pulling their pants down, fucking sexist and what the c~nting hell has it got to do with her daughter she is the nudist.

Oh just found out Stephen Gough was re-arrested on July 20th for breach of conditions,,thats cheered me up sick to back fucking teeth of penises am straight as a die and want to see fannys.

This is the first time I've read one of these bulletins so are "complaints not worth investigating" no big deal? You guys said theres no mention of any babechannels but isn't Elite Days listed with 1 complaint?

What I don't understand is, why are you watching all these programmes that are full of penises if you're so offended by them?
Aren't you doing exactly the same thing, in reverse, as the people who complain needlessly about the babechannels?

If you don't want to be offended then don't watch, simples!

If we use that argument in defence of the babechannels it's hypocritical to then go and do the same thing about other programming.

You're right, well spotted. It was a single complaint regarding the 17th June broadcast. Whatever it was Ofcom decided not to take it further, which is good news.

With the babe channels there's no logic in what Ofcom decide to investigate. It seems to be done on a whim. Usually if they do investigate then there's 100% chance that the channel will be found to be in breach, so perhaps this complaint was so idiotic that Ofcom decided that even their kangaroo court wouldn't be able to make it stick.
