Games of The Year 2009

Would love to know what are your fav games of year and why, doesn't matter what format or even how many games you consider being fav games of the year:

Mine of been:

Uncharted 2,
Street fighter 4
Batman Arkham Asylum
Modern Warefare 2
Ghostbusters

in no order, just my fav games

Hmm bit of a toughy but I have got to say (in no particular order):

Resident Evil 5
Assassin's Creed 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Batman Arkham Asylum
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
inFamous

And there are others that were a load of fun that just miss out as there was just something a little bit wrong with them like:

Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising (not too hard to not be able to beat it, but too hard to make it fun for very long)
Brutal Legend (Not an RTS fan and would of preferred a more complete single player mode as opposed to a crappy multiplayer one)
Halo 3 ODST (How short can a game be? Can be completed in 3 hours with no difficulty at all)
Bionic Commando (Supposed to be free-roaming but just covered that over with 'Radiation Areas', shoddy idea)
Prototype (Could of easily been better than inFamous if they spent more time not putting in stupid shit like races and consume events, and more time on varying the story missions)
The Conduit (They tried so hard to get good graphics out of the Wii they forgot to add a non-generic story)

I think the nominees will be:

Uncharted 2
Killzone 2
Modern Warfare 2
Assassins Creed 2
Batman?

But Uncharted 2 should win it no problem, along with best graphics, best voice acting, sound, studio of the year and pretty much every other award you can win at a gaming awards show.

I'll be suprised if Microsoft even get a nomination for anything at all, they really did flump absolutely everything this year. If I was an Xbox owner right now I'd be pretty f***ing pissed, it can only get worse for them when 2010 rolls over.
