Just before Paige appeared on screen she could be heard doing her own introduction - remember this is after Karina had done the main welcome speech:

She clearly thought that it wasn't yet 11pm and that therefore Freeview hadn't yet kicked off. Presumably, whoever was responsible for switching the BS1 camera to the Freeview feed was under the same impression.

This isn't the first time the BS1 crew have been unaware of the time. Back on 29 November Kandi was on the BS1 bed at the start of Freeview and Karina did the main introduction in the usual way. 10 minutes into the show Kandi picked up the mic to do her own personal greeting saying that they had just been joined by Freeview. It was evident that she believed this because up to that point she had continued with the very raunchy Sky act I had been watching her doing on the web stream, but as soon as she had finished speaking she switched to her much tamer, more laid back Freeview style.

The BS1 set obviously doesn't have a reliable clock of any sort, which is bad enough, but how can there be such a lack of communication between different parts of the studio? Perhaps a recent poster wasn't far wrong when he suggested that a similarity to Bang Babes is developing, in that minds are occupied with things other than the job in hand. Some of the camera work would also tend to support that theory.

Whatever the reasons, it is really quite inexcusable for any broadcast studio, or part thereof, not to know the correct time.

It was bad enough when they were cluttering up Stevie's set with Amanda and then with Kerry, but putting the twins in there too, after only 9 minutes of Stevie solo? WTF???

As for 2-4-1s, BS knows full well how to do them. A few months back we were getting some quite good 2-4-1s, but just recently they've switched back to the stupid namby-pamby, touchy-feely, fingertip-stroking crap that they used to do before we got an adult section on Freeview.
