Thanks for the vid. Managed to record about 2 hours last night. Not got a clue how to transfer it from Sky though. If anyone can help would be glad to upload it.

Either transfer it via a TV/video card/stick to your PC or record it to DVD and then take it from the DVD to the PC. It's complicated, costs money and takes a bit of practice to get right I'm afraid.

BTW, is Chelsea wearing see through knickers tonight? The picture quality is so bad....

Two ways....

1. Dvd recorder.
2. Tv card. I have a duel anologue/digital card with S video input. Therefore I have a s video cable connected between the Sky HD box and the pc. To get audio, you will require an additional lead. (2 male phono to a 3.5mm stereo jack)

Skateguy posted a simple guide here with links to some freeware programs. Personally, I use TMPGEnc to rip DVD's onto my pc using re-recordable discs. The best type of DVD recorders to get is one with an inbuild HDD. Some DVD recorders come with a dvd writer to speed up file transfer.
