Completed it yesterday (Thursday) to make it officially the only game I have ever beaten before it is actually released, WOO!

Ahem, on topic, yes it was as I feared, I mean hoped, the action never lets up, it the most action-packed, frantic and frenetic game I have ever played, it is ridiculous, even in situations where is doesn't seem like there should be action (checking out an delapidated burial site inside a mountain for example), it is there all the time, Naughty Dog have done it again. If they keep up the pace for the next game they will of made one of the best trilogys of all time. They would be bested probably only by their other great, the Jak series in my eyes, the 3rd would have to surpass this one (a tall call considering I have never had this much fun on a PS3 game, it is easily the best exclusive on the console) to be considered better than the Jak series. Although I hope they do not do what they done with their last PS trilogy's, finished them then made a racing game out of the series, if it is like CTR, yes please, if it is like Jak X, no thanks.

It is currently rated the 5th best game of all time on Gamerankings behind LoZ: OoT, GTA4, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario World, bit much all things considered, I would not put it in my top 5 of all time myself but it is fucking amazing and the critics love it.

GTA4 was not 1 of the best games ever made, who made that list?

It is made up of the average review scores off of every website and magazine they can get hold of unfortunately, and because the pricky games reviewers licked GTA4's arse as if it was the best thing invented ever (+1), it is up there ridiculously highly rated, there are the classics up there that easily deserve to be up there like Mario World, LoZ: OoT and Super Metroid, it has got ludicrously high rated current games like GTA4, Uncharted 2 (it is good but not THAT good) and Super Mario Galaxy that are good games (however I really dislike GTA4) but not even good enough to tie the shoelaces of the legendary titles listed above. The only current gen game that may deserve to be in the top 10 that currently is, is 'The Orange Box' because it was such value for money, had quality throughout and had Portal.

GTA4 is not even the best GTA game.

Well i just bought the 250gig PS3 and got fifa 10 and uncharted 2. Refused to play it, its still in the wrapper because I wanted to play the original so I get to follow the story. Am I glad I waited.
