Freeview channel changes for Cellcast shows

With a bit of luck they're trying to sort out the problem of it being a 16:9 signal squashed into a 4:3 image. If thar's what they're doing I'll be happy to wait.

But how come PG was shown from midnight on Thursday and was clearly being transmitted from midnight last night but wasn't generally receivable until shortly after its revised 'official' start time of 1:00am?

PG was not on freeview at midnight last night. I checked. Only BS1 was on then, which I watched.

Matt38 and I saw different things between midnight and the proper start-up at 1:00am and I didn't receive anything of the 'proper' show until one and a half minutes past 1:00am:

PG was not on freeview at midnight last night. I checked. Only BS1 was on then, which I watched.

If you look at the post times you’ll see that my comments refer to Friday night, not last night (Saturday).

Just a heads-up that the EPG is showing PG as 12:00am - 4:59am for tonight and all next week until reverting to 1:00am - 5:30am for Fri - Sun then back to 12:00am to 4:59 am on the following Monday.

Make of that what you will but it looks a bit like what Mod-Sta was trying to tell me in a pm a couple of nights back, although it isn't exactly what he said.

Don't really know where to put this, so I'm sticking it in here (cue bishop/actress joke . . .).

Heard Tara's explanation a few minutes back of what she isn't allowed to do on Freeview. What f**king ridiculous nonsense.
