News on new channels - Freeview & Sky

Problem is there is so little available frequency spectrum for any broadcaster on Freeview with the government unlikely and reluctant to release any further space for digital TV and instead giving it to 3G, 4G phones and other commercial non TV users so its a case of having to take what you can get and be done with it hence Xpanded only getting 3am to 5.30am even though they would prefer to start at midnight!

Well a couple of daytime channels have opened up, as it seems the company behind the Bid and Price Drop shopping channels has finally gone belly up after attempting to cut costs to stay afloat :

Be interesting to see who steps up to take that space, but I suspect it's unlikely to be a babe channel.

It costs a fortune to be on freeview and daytime babe channels would never cover the costs.

Price Drop went a month ago and was replaced by CBS Reality, which is a bum deal and no mistake.

I don't anticipate Bid TV being replaced by anything worthwhile.

Price drop got moved to one of the newer mux com7 & bid replace it on com 5 why CBS Reality replace bid on SDN mux.at the end of march & movies4men also joined freeview on com5 on the 1st.

We're lucky there's anything on Freeview at all. I remember there being only one channel with babes in bikinis, and for a while it was removed and replaced with some psychic phone line, tarot card bollocks!

I'll never forgot when they first started getting their tits out. Camilla's top came off and just stayed off, Donna Duke stripping completely naked and hiding her pussy with a giant teddy bear... Great days!
