Sadly not. If it is an adult related website, regardless of age verification on the front page, under the BCAP Advertising Standards Code it is not permitted.

As Elite recently received a reprimand from Ofcom for the exact same thing, as they received a warning for their output in the last Ofcom broadcast bulletin and as they are currently under investigation for a complaint filed on the 6th of December 2009, then I thought they may want to show caution in regards to advertising Michelle's website.

Saying "they should be ok" isn't really helpful.

I would assume "over the mic" relates as "on air", since Elite made these comments to Ofcom:

"The broadcaster provided an explanation as to why the error occurred. It stated that before 10 July all members of the production staff were briefed that no further references to the website were to be made either on-screen or by the presenters. However the producer of the 10 July broadcast was on annual leave when the internal announcement was made and therefore was unaware of the change in policy."

Anyway, I don't want this to turn this thread into another "bash Ofcom" thread, as it seems to be upsetting joskati and I'm sure the caps of the "bombchelle" will start arriving soon.
