[split] Elite TV Off-topic : Geordie Accent

erm! "what you sof arsed sothena's taakin aboot?" il have you know the geordie accent (newcastle and north of the tyne) is 1 of the best in the country, most of us actually don't have the pit yakka drawl, very few have a flat cap and we know what a dentist is...
im not saying when i go to ashington that i don't slip back into the drawl, but most of the time you will hear tv english with little in the way of an accent. basically what im saying is when the pits closed the paddy yak died with em.
the best thing about the geordie accent is southern ladies love it, we sound common to there posh tones... we make em feel dirty and they love us for it...

but yeah she would find it off if she talked to a couple of uncles i have...
what i like though is the fact when a northern lad appeared on the UFC they subtitled him(he was from the midlands). yet they had a mexican on that hardly spoke english and they didnt sub him...

fucking subtitles for sum1 speaking english.... YANKs!
