^ Unnecessary, in my opinion. Looks a little (no offence to whomever designed it) cheap too. But, it's only a header - not the be all and end all. Harmless.

You misunderstand. It's the choice of Lori Buckby for the latest header I was applauding, not the idea of the header itself.
