Its meant to be the PS4 and the next Xbox that won't play second hand games.

Thats what i ment on the new ps4 nor the old PS3 games on the ps4

So you cant play second hand games? thats total shite. Some people cant afford full price for new games and this will also affect game shops. I hope this is not true.

I did read that Sony did a patent on some form of technology which would do this so looks like this maybe the case but i agree there are good deals you can get son second hand games as thats how i get most of mine.

Well if this is true then sales of games will be affected. People just do not have the money to spend on games like they did 5 years ago these days. I will spend £40 on the games I really want but will not take a gamble on a game I have reservations about. I've bought many a game 2nd hand on a whim and found them to be brilliant. That has led me to buy the sequels at full price when they get released. Perhaps those days will soon be over

Anyone know when the PS4 is scheduled for release? Because i heard that the next Call Of Duty is for the next generation of gaming.

I think a lot of the new games cumming out will be for the the two new consoles

Rumours are that it could possible be at the end of year or possibly early next year as for Call of Duty it will be probably be on all the consoles including the next gen consoles i can't see them not releasing it for the PS3 and 360 seeing as the Call Of Duty games come out in October and with Grand Theft Auto 5 coming out in mid September can't see them giving up on the current consoles just yet.
