NFL 2021-2022 Season

When the Bengals beat the Chiefs last weekend you have to ask if the Bengals have the potential of being a Superbowl team.
The Joe Burrow to Ja'Marr Chase combination was the best pairing that I've seen in years. But do two great players make a team.

I'll be watching the Bengals again this weekend as they are very entertaining.

Looking forward to the California derby tonight with San Francisco 49ers against Los Angeles Rams.

A must win for the 49ers to clinch the last NFC Playoff spot, defeat will see the Saints into the Playoffs with a win at the Falcons.

And 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is listed as questionable, he missed last week's game with an injured right thumb.

Trey Lance wasn't in sync at the start of the last match but came good in the end. So if Garoppolo is fit head coach Kyle Shanahan has a decision to make.
But Shanahan probably knows but wants to play cat and sheep with the opposition.

It's Ben Roethlisberger's last ever game for the Steelers tonight. Maybe

They mentioned that Washington are going to reveal their new name on February 2nd, just before the Superbowl.

Just watched a thrilling game between San Francisco 49ers and LA Rams - and what a comeback from SF. Down 17-0 and end up winning 27 - 24 after overtime. Excellent passes from QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

The 49ers had to win to get to the playoffs and they did. The Rams still win their conference. Great game - looking forward to seeing both teams in the playoffs.

G0 Niners !! It's been quite a season so far, & a great achievement in itself after a 3-5 start. Jimmy G is not the best, but as a veteran, he got the job done, despite the injuries. After last weeks struggles, I think that Shanahan made the right call, a rookie QB would've found it hard against a tough Rams side. Much will depend on the SF Defensive & Offensive lines, if they have any hopes of progressing any further.

I like the way that the commentators describe finishing at the bottom of the conferences - top draft pick.

It the end of the regular session, so it's now Black Monday the start of the sackings. The Denver coach went yesterday.
The Dophins head coach has gone and he had a 9-8 record and the General Manager of the Giants has left, also the Viking coach has gone.
And the coach of the Chicago Matt Nagy along with their General Manger have both been sacked. There's a few names being mentioned as filling the head coach role, the favourate being a Mr Rammy Rascal.
