Eh? When you say encrypted do you simply mean you need the Sky viewing card inserted? That's not really what I call an encrypted channel.

I wouldn't call it 'encrypted' in the sense that we use it on here either.

Yes it uses videoguard as it's part of the Sky Entertainment package, but it's a generally-available family channel, not a porn channel, and that's the point being made by mr mann.

Looking forward to Thursday night, just after 11pm when Film 4 screens Antichrist. Will be interested to see if the channel stays true to form and shows the movie uncut. If that is the case, surely it sets a precedent that the Babechannels will be able to cite if they decide to up the anti and broadcast more explicit material than the guff they give us now. I imagine Ofcom will be hard pressed to hammer Red Light, Babestation, Elite etc, if we've seen Antichrist in it's original format, on a free to air, unencrypted channel which also broadcasts on the Freeview platform.
Oh, wait a minute, almost forgot. Antichrist was an arty type of film that was watched by sophisticated film buffs who can appreciate it. Unlike the babe shows which plebs like us enjoy!
Good on Film 4 for having the bottle to show this film. Shame on the Babe Channels for cowering down to Ofcom without so much as a whimper of protest whenever the censor comes calling with even more outrageous restrictions on there output. After Thursday, just tell the Southwark Bridge Mafia to Fuck Off and leave well alone.
