The Jacksonville Jaguars have confirmed a deal to play a home NFL game at Wembley Stadium in London for four years starting in 2013.

The St Louis Rams had been due to make London their second home, but after playing against New England Patriots this October they have pulled out of a commitment to play further games in the UK

Just assessing my Redskins team for this season:

QB:Robert Griffin III an undoubted talent but probably not going to have a spectacular rookie year.Still should procuce some decent numbers in an area that was a problem for Washington last year.

WR:Plenty of weapons for whoever the starting QB is Pierre Garcon will probably be main target but Hankerson and evergreen Santana Moss also on hand.

TE: stand out year for Fred Davis lat year can he repeat? and of course Chris Cooley usually reliable,

OL:Te Hogs were always an integral part of Redskins glory years,last year was disappointing and they need to step up their game to provide more protection,

DL:May not be the best in the league but still very decent,defence carried the team for most of last year and should be strong again this year,

LB:Another strong unit for Redskins .Expect Fletcher in particular to shine this term

CB & Safeties:Major weakness here Griffin and Hall make a plays but just as likely to be burned

Season expectations:Still rebuilding,seems to been going on for years with little sign of improvement but time now for Shannahan to start seeing some results and there are signs of a promising future ahead.But not this year - a play off spot would be a great achievement for Skins

We were awesome last year til Cutler, then Forte got injured. Im expecting big things this season from Lovie & co.

Hopefully they'll get back to become NFL Champions again...

Pre session this year, they have beaten Minnesota and Denver but have lost to Houston. Their last pre session match is tomorrow night against San Diego.

49ers should be able to win the NFC West with 10-11 wins whether they can win a playoff game is a harder question.
Very strong on defence,especially LB's.
Rely on Frank Gore a lot for running game,need him to stay healthy.Done a lot in the wide receiver dept. adding Moss,Manningham and Jenkins makes them look strong but question marks whether they have the QB to utilise them.Should know more after a tough opener against the Packers.

Linebackers have to be versatile on defence, reacting to what the opposition offence is doing.So they close up to stop a running play or drop back to provide extra pass coverage if the opposing offence looks like passing. They can also be used in a 'blitz' where they try to get through to the opposition quarterback before he has time to release the ball.
