The amusing thing about that quote was that anyone who'd ever seen him interviewed knew that he'd be lucky to find his own arse with both hands and a set of written directions He was a good quality, hard working player, but I never thought he was management material, he laways struck me as a "yes boss, good idea boss" type of player. You couldn't imagine him blasting the manager if things were going badly. At least he's gone now, and after what he oversaw at County I doubt that he'll be back at another club anytime soon either!

You always got the impression he needed someone else along side him for when plan A (Uhm... play betterer than those opponentisitions boys) invariably failed. At least after what happened to County no-one else is likely to hire him in a hurry

Wigan have just equalised, 8 minutes to go, you really need a win to keep the pressure on one of your biggest rivals. What do you do? I know, replace your best attacking player on the park with an out of form striker, whilst leaviing two defensive midfielders on. Tactical genius.

With 2 minutes to go adverts are played while Everton are on the attack and when we come back Everton had scored a goal. How the FA have given them and Setanta the rights for the FA Cup is out of the question - The FA do not give a damn about coverage, as long as they get money they will give rights to TV companies who have not got a clue Bad picture quality, terrible commentating, what is going to be next?

Bring back The FA Cup to BBC and Sky, at least they know how to coverage the games properly.

Just as I was writing this reply, I was watching the ad break on ITV1 and they cut back midway to an interview with Gosling and then went back to the studio like nothing happened?

What the hell is going on with this company, thank god they do not have F1 next season.

I thought his affection for Cristiano Ronaldo was disturbing but when Gerard went off last night I was waiting to hear him burst in to tears!

Yes there is DAVID PLEAT! He is utter shite!

Anyhoo 2 managers gone in 1 day. oh dear! I think Scolari should have changed his tactics before christmas and taken mikel and kalou out of the team, and played a 4 4 2 with drogba and anelka up front, no harm in trying something different, which he did not. And ultimately it cost him el job.
