You have to fear for the future if you're a Birmingham fan, even before relegation there have been constant rumours of financial problems and unhappiness between board and manager.Given the wage bill and debt at the club expect any saleable player to go- not that there are many.Could easily be a similar situation to the likes of Norwhich and Southampton and drop through the leagues.

My sincere sympathies go out to Blackpool and Birmingham. My lot got lucky today and I know that all too well. Next season the unforced error count by Wolves must be reduced. No more conceding goals from set pieces, no more conceding after we have just scored, no more chucking points away at the end of matches or giving sloppy goals away at the start. No more losing games from winning positions. In the football lists of do's and don'ts Wolves have done all the don'ts countless times over and somehow got away with it. I am grateful at our survival but underwhelmed by how it has come about. Next season must see a meaningful improvement and I am just so grateful and relieved at the end outcome.

Well that's this season done and dusted. I'm yet another disappointed Arsenal fan. Hopefully (and I am really running the use of that word thin with Arsenal) we can win a trophy next year. ARSENE WILL YOU PLEASE BUY SOME MORE PLAYERS

I am so relieved right now to be still in the premier league. The emotion, panic and anxiety at Molineux this afternoon has left me rather exhausted tonight. I honestly thought we were dead and buried. We got lucky, and condolences to Blues and to Blackpool fans. Margins of defeat and victory were very tight and this game which can be so beautiful, can also be so cruel. Sad

I guess thats why we all love it though. Shy

I'm sorry to see that Blackpool have been religated..
They have playe some great attacking football.
But you have to ask the question about their defense.... they didn't have one. They have the worse back 4 that I have seen in the Premiership.

I was truly sorry to see Blackpool relegated today, they have been a credit to the premiership this season. They along with the other two promoted clubs have at times played some great football provided great entertainment and produced some shock results along the way. I would love to think that the clubs who come up this season will learn from the way Blackpool, Newcastle and West Brom have tried to play attacking football and not be intimidated by their opponents. It,s amazing what you can achieve when you forget about results and just try to play attractive football.

To all the Blackpool fans out there i think i speak for all true football fans when i say that your team have done you proud this season and we hope to see you back in the premiership at the first time of asking.

RE: Football Banter
It's all well and good lauding Blackpool's attacking play, which was great at times, but you can't let it cover the fact that their defence was an absolute shambles. To concede 78 goals in a season is inexcusable in my eyes. If people are praising Holloway for his attacking play, surely he should be getting some criticism for his defence. Finding the balance between defence and attack is the managers job! Some of their defenders were shocking, Baptiste was relegated from the Football League before he joined Blackpool and Evatt, who played every game, looked a liability everytime I saw him!

Don't think there's any chance of them coming back up soon. Adam will surely be off, Vaughan is out of contract I think, and I'd say some PL teams might have a go at Gilks and maybe Campbell. Holloway seemed to think as much himself after the game, saying he wasn't sure if people realised how hard it was to get them there in the first place! Next season will be duller without them but you can't merit a place in the PL on attacking play alone.

I'm not stubborn, I was just born right

I see that Roman Abramovick has sack Carlo Ancelotti after he failed to win a trophy for the Chelsea big spenders.

Guus Hiddink is reportedly the Russian's No.1 target, with Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas another option.
