I think the rest of the paragraph addresses why I don't agree with it, for the most part, whether they have permission or not is beside the point for me.
Sure I doubt anything done would be disrespectful, but neither have any business trying to be journalists for a bit, anyone interested has been watching things unfold, we don't need their perspective.

I think This Morning as a show should just leave the news / press coverage to those organisations. For example, ITV as a station, already had full access for news coverage, matching it's colleagues (or rivals), at BBC and Sky.

This Morning as a show should not have been given permission, but that really is an irrelevant matter for me. There are news organisations and press for a reason - they have news correspondents and journalists.

Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are neither. As it's been said previously - it's not really the right subject for a topical / light entertainment category TV show. I believe they should have declined the special accreditation and left news coverage to their parent TV channel.

I saw the front-pages of all today's newspapers on this most momentous of days and was surprised to see that the best newspaper front pages were from 2 of the most unlikeliest out of the lot - the Daily Express & Daily Star. The Star led with "Kingdom United" - a fitting headline for the atmosphere and sensibility of the country this past week, whilst the Express led with the most poignant of tributes with the most fitting set of words akin to a most heartfelt and appropriate epitaph - "Farewell our Glorious Queen".

I was surprised by how slightly underwhelming the usually on-the-pulse Daily Mail was with "Our Last Farewell" (accurate but abit understated for a day with such a large sense of occasion) and The Sun was similarly surprisingly low key just headlining with "God Bless", better than The Times whose curious headline inexplicably didn't even refer to the Queen but instead Charles!

Now we look to Charles to steady the ship of the United Kingdom.
I think rhe most symbolic moment of all was when the Dean of Windsor accepted the crown, orb and sceptre and the Lord Chamberlain broke his wand and placed it on the coffin his duty done to her majesty.
