Sky TV - Technical Chat & Issues
On Sunday morning I skimmed through a portion of the recorded daytime show (not the nighttime) before I needed to be elsewhere. This morning I checked my Sky+ planner to find to my dismay that all my elite tv recordings had vanished. Given that at the time I didn't realise that Alice hadn't done the night show, I was very pissed off.

Still am slightly, because by all accounts Alice's daytime show was damn good.

Incidentally, and I know it's not appropriate for this thread, other than some unruly member of the household purposely deleting my recordings, does anyone have any explanation as to why these recording may have vanished or has anyone encountered this before?

Without Dannii Harwood, Winter would have no Spring.

Have had it happen when recording space low it will record, then when space used will delete; confusing as I've seen it as low as 3%, then the next day without using it ,it's showing 12%.....SurprisedSurprised

RE: Alice - Night Show Chat : The Good Girl Goes Bad!!
Sometimes a software update can render old recordings bad, dunno if they get deleted, but that could be the cause. If you have sky anytime turned on I think that can change the free space (newer boxes have that set up seperately so this doesn't happen).

RE: Sky TV - Technical Chat & Issues
Its happenned about 3 times in 4 years on my freeview PVR as well.
I lost a couple of CSI episodes that I had not seen, and possibly some other stuff as well, only last week.
I think its a "free space" problem. I noticed the amount of free space is quite a bit bigger than it used to be.
I have never seen it go below 7% free though.
