Fed up with telephone sales people?

If your fed up with telephone sales people then you might find this site useful.

Basically by registering your home telephone number with them it will block the vast number of nuisance calls you get from companies trying to sell you crap you don't want or change your telephone/gas/electricity provider etc.

If you still get nuisance telesales calls after 28 days of registering there's a pretty good chance they are breaking the law and they provide an online form to report the callers telephone number.

if I'm feeling playful I ask them to hang on as my dinner is in the oven, then stick the phone down whilst watching the telly/reading a book/computer and see how long the idiots hang on for......26 minutes is the record!

I thought i was the only one who did that to them. They do hang around a ridiculous amount of time even then so if I want them off the phone I just say the house is rented and they can't get off the phone quick enough if they are selling windows etc.

I definitely agree with your statement m100. I don't want to register in TPS. If you get still connected with them, you are probably get nuisance time by time.
