I texted them the ID code at 11.45pm and got the PIN back from them almost immediately. I was already watching channel 96 and it did not say you had to wait until mignight to enter the PIN, so I entered it. It was accepted ok without an error message, (unlike when I just tried typing in a random number earlier to see what happened and got an incorrect PIN message then). I sat back and waited for midnight.
The screen went black and stayed black. Sad
I waited more than 5 minutes then tried changing channels and then returning to ch96 as was suggested in the FAQ.
Still just a totally black screen.
It was a new 32" TV I was using and parental lock was off, so it should have been ok

I switched off and on again to get access to the red button again and obtained a new ID number.
I texted this to them as before but got no reply this time.
Sent it again and still got no reply.
Switched off and went to bed.

At least I did not lose a fiver. Won't be bothering with it again.
Just finished reading the posts about it from last night and it looks like I did not miss much.

OK - PM sent.
Just checked my phone and I did get a reply with a new PIN, but it was about an hour after I had sent the new ID in, and I had gone to bed by then so did not get a chance to try it. Sad
Had the exact same problem, tried 3 different pin numbers which all worked fine but got nothing but a black screen, no error messages either.

glad to report it worked fine for me. up until 2:45am the screen went blank then pin entry came up again. i got 4 new pins 3 of which were accepted but failed to do anything other than reshow the pin screen. i waited and reported on here the crash then at 3:20 i entered the last pin and it worked but by then i was thinkin what the hell am i doing and went to bed.
im using a matsui dtr2 box if that helps.

thanks for the report. unfortunately we had a problem at 2.47 which caused the pins to reset. we've identified the cause and it won't happen from now on
In my opinion Babestation should make tonight another free night in order to see if the "black screen" problems have been sorted out , there is no way anyone who had problems last night will fork out a fiver not knowing if they will be able to see the show, even people who could access the channel will be reluctant to purchase the show having seen this forum and knowing there is problems (me) . Also there may be a legal issue as well, with babestation knowing there had been problems the previous night and knowingly charging £5.00 for a show that they cannot guarantee that you can see , i think that is against the law.

Mine went off too around this time so i ended up switching it off. You should offer another trial night now that it wont happen again Tongue
if anyone else is experiencing the problems talked about in this thread, please PM us with the make/model of your tv or freeview box, and the telephone number / email address you used to generate your PINs.

From the total amount of unique PIN requests, this problem is isolated to less than 1% that we know of so far, so it doesn't appear to be widespread
