Actor Douglas Smith has been cast as Jimmy Olsen in the 4 and final season of the show.

Season 3 finally started on BBC1 this afternoon with a double bill

Filming has just wrapped up on the 4th and final season.

Actor Tom Cavanagh is not only directing the season 4 series finale but his also guest starring in it too no news on which character he will be playing.

After Sunday afternoon double bills the first 2 weeks, there was a gap for a fortnight, and it's now on quite late at night.

3.1 Lois looks like getting an emotional storyline this year, whilst Superman seems to be tested by an old enemy with new help. And there are plenty of other sub-plots.
